INFRALINER

Infralinerâ„¢ is a factory-fabricated HDPE concrete protection liner with integral V-Lock anchors. Mechanically locked into the concrete, not glued to it.

01 / WHAT IT IS

Protection that becomes part of the structure

Infraliner is a high density polyethylene concrete protection liner manufactured with integral V-Lock anchor studs across its rear face. The liner is fixed to formwork before the pour. As the concrete is placed, thousands of anchors are encapsulated and mechanically locked into the structure.

The result is a protective barrier that is part of the concrete, not a layer sitting on top of it.

Sheets are prefabricated to suit the structure. All joints are extrusion welded on site to form a continuous barrier, and every weld is tested.

02 / WHY MECHANICAL ANCHORING

Coatings do not fail because the chemistry is wrong. They fail because the application has to be perfect everywhere.

Sprayed and painted coatings only perform if the application is right, and application depends on substrate preparation, temperature, humidity, film thickness and the person holding the gun. Get any one of those wrong on any part of the structure, and that is where the failure starts.

Mechanical anchoring removes the variable. The liner is held by the anchors. The anchors are held by the concrete.

Lift this straight into your specification

Concrete protection lining shall be a factory-fabricated high density polyethylene sheet incorporating integral mechanical anchors on the rear face, cast into the concrete during placement. The liner shall not rely on adhesion to the substrate. All joints shall be extrusion welded and 100% tested in accordance with the manufacturer's inspection and test plan. Installation shall be carried out by an installer approved by the liner manufacturer.

Infraliner is supplied in standard sheet and roll formats, prefabricated to project requirements. PVC is available on request for applications where HDPE is not suitable.
